In the articles discussed during this month, we can see how some countries within Europe have a strong fear of immigrants, however Spain is one of the countries thankful to migrants for their economic progress, and this has a lot to do on the actions their government has taken to secure migrants rights. One of the actions Spain has taken into account is that they look forward for a greater equity among its people, whether they are from other countries or they are currently living there illegally. The notes reviewed give us an example of the positive changes in a country after certain modifications in laws or the creation of new ones in order to protect immigrants.
The government of Spain takes actions to deal with the problem of migration, such as people who are illegally in the country, ask for their return will be the first to consider when they actually want to return home, or if an immigrant woman has a pending lawsuit by victims of gender violence will be suspended until her return end of the trial, so this country fight against sexual crimes according to Pablo's article.
